This is Two: We made it!

What’s up?!

Its been a while since my last post but I’m here and if you follow me on Instagram you know we’ve been getting ready for Penny’s third birthday! As I was getting ready to write this post, I took a moment to look back on my very first posts which I wrote right before Penny’s second birthday and before my blog went public. Reading my words during this stage drew up so many emotions. From happy and proud, to a little sad. Penny is getting older and as much as some days I still feel like a total rookie mom, I am so proud of how far we’ve come this past year. All three of us! Continue reading “This is Two: We made it!”

We cheers’d with a little Prosecco and 12 grapes in our glass which is a tradition I grew up with. One grape for each month of the year and as you eat each grape you make a wish or set a goal for the year. This always makes me think of what I want to focus on for the New Year and put it into action.  I have found that setting intentions rather than rules or restrictions is what works for me and keeps me balanced. Looking back on 2017!

Well, well, well, what can I say 2017, you’ve been quite a special year! I really can’t believe how fast this year flew by. Looking back on all these pictures makes me think of all the exciting things that happened this year. We have so many memories with friends and family filled with laughter. One thing Ben and I wanted to focus on this year was spending more time with friends and family after spending 2016 being new parents. I can happily say we definitely did just that. From celebrating milestone birthdays to seeing some of our best friends get married and engaged. We were able to travel with both friends and on our own and have Penny experience it all with us.
